They didn’t really split. The band quit.
They were only a “Band” together.

I’m not a big enough Beatles fan to speculate on that, really. The first two songs I would choose to listen to are It’s All Too Much, which is a psychedelic classic, and Taxman, which has that great raw sound.
Both George Harrison songs, for what it’s worth.

George Harrison’s growing talent as a songwriter is one of the things that upset the established status-quo within The Beatles, eventually leading to the break up. His dissatisfaction with only getting 2 songs per album only added to the already growing tension between Lennon and McCartney. Add Yoko Ono’s growing influence on Lennon and the fact that the band no longer had a manager *** father figure since the death of Brian Epstein to smooth over the arguments and problems (it could be said that many of these would never have got out of hand if Epstein had lived) and the break up of the greatest band of all time was sadly inevitable.

We will never know the exact reason why The Beatles broke-up, but we all can say how they were the best band that ever existed. My theory is that during the end Paul became overpowering, and John fell in love. With Paul wanting everything to be a certain way that surely could get annoying, and when John fell in love with Yoko Ono things took a turn for the worst. Yoko Ono was the wedge between John and the rest of the guys. That is when they became unequal. I mean how creepy would it be to have been if a women you barely knew was in your recording studio everyday, and one of your best friends was staring at her in amazement like a kid locked in a toy store overnight? I would be freaked out especially if everyone else knew what kind of horrible person she is and was. In the end I think we shouldn’t think about what divided them though, but what kept them together which was their brotherly love for one another. They were the greatest performers that ever lived, and their legacy will live on forever!
